The Delaware County Veterans Memorial serves as an interactive educational venue to honor the military service of all veterans for past, present, and future sacrifices. A 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, this EITC-approved program is supported by many local school districts. The education committee has developed a curriculum based, age appropriate program for students in grades K through 12 so that they have a better understanding of the foundation of our nation and those who fought to keep the United States strong. “That’s the best gift we can give them, a good foundation.” stated Linda M. Houldin, a Founding Member of the DCVMA.

The DCVMA is excited to share that many schools throughout Delaware County have participated in our Veterans Education Program and thousands of students have visited the Memorial since the inception of the education programs. More than 600 guests attended and over $100,000 was raised at the 2019 Freedom Medal Awards Dinner in support of our Veterans and the Memorial. Through your generous support, future generations will learn of the sacrifice to keep our nation free. Sponsorship and program book packages are enclosed.
